How are you funded?

What does your logo mean?

The closed handcuff represents incarceration or being in bondage to sin. However, through the Cross and the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf through His death, we have freedom. The open handcuff represents this freedom. In short, whatever sin or bondage we may be in, there is always freedom in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Where do I park?

Please feel free to park in our parking lot, which is accessible from B Avenue.  Enter through the door that opens to 17th St.

When are you open?

The Mission at 1700 B Avenue NE is open to the public Monday- Friday 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

When do you accept donations?

We can accept food and clothing donations at the Mission during the following hours: Monday- Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.  Please bring items through the door that opens to 17th St.

What types of emergency clothing do you accept?

Our greatest need is for:

  • Job interview clothing
  • Men’s jeans
  • New socks
  • New underwear

In the winter months, we also accept men’s, women’s and children’s coats and warm winter clothing items. It’s always a good idea to call ahead to see what our needs are. Please see our current needs page for up-to-date information.

Do you accept furniture and household items?

Unfortunately, we do not have space for such items. We encourage you to take miscellaneous items to Stuff, etc. where Mission of Hope will receive a 50% profit from sold items. Just let them know you’d like to support Mission of Hope.

Can I get a receipt for donated items?

We will gladly write out an informal receipt or issue a formal receipt on letterhead.
